KIDS KLUB
We offer a fun, engaging place for your kids to play and socialize with other children while you have a worry-free workout! Kids Klub is available for children 1 month old through the 5th grade. If your child is still in diapers, you must check on him/her every half hour as our staff will not change diapers. Punch cards for Kids Klub are available in various amounts in order to make this an affordable experience for your family!

EMMA'S DANCENASTICS
Dancenastics is a combination of gymnastics and dance. Children will be exposed to tumbling, balance beam, rhythmic gymnastics, dance, and more. Every other month there are practice/performances on stage in order for parents to see the progress of their children. Children Pre-K - 3rd Grade are welcome to participate. For the children that attend Woodland Elementary, a chaperone is provided to walk participants over to the BACC. Emma's Dancenastic classes start in September and run through May!

AQUAMASSAGE
The BACC is excited to offer the innovative, relaxing AquaMassage to our members and guests!
With the AquaMassage, you can enjoy the benefits of a massage without the usual inconvenience, time or expense. AquaMassage combines the benefits of a hands-on massage with the latest technology to produce the most effective full-body water massage possible! The AquaMassage helps to increase circulation, relaxes and revives sore, aching muscles and relieves pain and tension!
For a nominal daily fee ($2.50 for 10minutes or $5.00 for 20minutes), you may enjoy the benefits of our AquaMassage whenever you choose.

TANNING
Planning a trip to a warm weather climate? Prom or a wedding coming up soon? Or do you just want a little sun??? We have just what you need! The BACC has two tanning beds to help you meet your tanning goals.
Appointments can be made up to two weeks in advance and are scheduled every half hour. Become a BACC Gold Member and unlimited tanning is included in your membership! Non-members can purchase tanning packages to maximize their tanning experience. Check out our tanning beds and get into the sun at the BACC!!

 

LOCKER RENTALS
For your convenience, the Community Center offers four Locker Rooms – Boys, Girls, Mens and Womens. Daily use of the lockers are free to all members and guests. We encourage you to bring your own lock to secure your valuables on a daily basis.
You may rent a locker on a quarterly or yearly basis and the Community Center will provide a lock for your use. Rent a locker at the BACC today – not only will you no longer have to carry your essentials to the gym everyday, but you will have the security of knowing that your valuables are locked up while you enjoy your workout.

WORKOUT CLUBS:
Join the BACC Workout Clubs and receive fun prizes for your efforts! To get started, put your name on our 50 Workout Club Chart in the Fitness Area then put an X by your name when you are done with your workout. Remember to record every time you are in for a workout and you will be able to win all kinds of cool prizes!
**When you complete a Workout chart, let our Front Desk staff know and you will receive a prize. Then move your name on to the next chart and keep working towards your fitness goal!!

LOST AND FOUND
The Community Center has a Lost and Found area where we will hold items that are found by our staff or that have been turned in to our staff. All items are held at the Center for a minimum of 30 days. After that time, items are donated to local charitable organizations. The BACC is not responsible for lost or stolen items, but we do encourage you to check out our Lost and Found area to check for missing items.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES
Celebrate your child’s birthday at the BACC! Enjoy unlimited use of the pool and an hour in our Meeting Room to have refreshments or open gifts. You can even add use of the gym for a nominal extra fee per child. Great fun for the birthday child and an easy way for mom and dad to help him/her celebrate turning a year older!!

YOUTH RECREATION
PLAY BALL!!!! Throughout the year, the BACC offers a variety of recreational activities for youth to participate in. Whether your child wants to play basketball, soccer, t-ball, pitchball, or golf, we have the instructors and programs standing by ready to engage your child in a new sport or a sport that they already love and want to continue to improve their skills in. Sign your child up to have a great time with other kids -- learning and perfecting the skills needed to excel in their chosen sport!!

DADDY/DAUGHTER DANCE
Once a year, the BACC hosts the Daddy/Daughter Dance. This Dance can be attended by girls up to grade 5 and their dad (or any other adult male in their life). The D.J. plays all your favorite songs and you can dance the night away. What fun it will be to dance the “chicken dance,” or the “electric slide” with the young lady in your life. Free pop and popcorn will also be served. So, put on your dancing shoes and make tracks to the Community Center’s Daddy/Daughter Dance coming in March 09.

PERSONALIZED FITNESS PROGRAMS
Need some extra help getting started on your fitness program? Just meet with our personalized fitness consultant, and she will set you up on a 4-week fitness program designed to meet your fitness goals. Every 4 weeks, have your fitness program updated to continue on the road to a healthier, happier you!

GUN SHOW
When the last weekend in February rolls around, the place to be is the Barron Area Community Center. That’s when the Wisconsin Sport & Military Firearms Show is held in the Center’s gymnasium. Come to view, sell, and/or trade firearms of all styles on February 27- March 1, 2009.

RACQUETBALL
Looking for a great workout while playing a fun game? Then Racquetball is for you! The BACC has two Racquetball courts for your enjoyment. Join one of our Racquetball Leagues and have a great time playing competitive Racquetball against other members of the BACC! We also have a women's walleyball league that starts in the fall and goes until the spring. Look below for more details!

WALLEYBALL
Walleyball is a sport that is played in the Racquetball court with a ball that is the size of a volleyball, but made out of the same material as a racquetball. Using the walls as part of the game makes for a unique athletic contest…just don’t hit the back wall on a serve or hit two walls when returning a volley…that would be OUT! It’s a lot of fun – check it out at the BACC!

SPRING EXPO
The first weekend of April brings out the best that the Barron Area has to offer. Area businesses set up displays in the BACC gymnasium for you to come explore.

HOLIDAY FILM FESTIVALS
Throughout the year, the BACC hosts Holiday Film Festivals. Hot dogs and pop are on the menu for an early dinner and then you will view a holiday movie on the big screen in the BACC Theater! Join us for the Festival, and kick off the holiday season in style!

GOLDEN BEARS BENCH PRESS CLASSIC
Every December, the BACC holds its Golden Bear Bench Press Classic. Lots of different divisions for both men and women of all ages. Every lifter that completes at least one lift will receive a trophy!

TENNIS
The BACC offers a full size tennis court for your playing enjoyment. We have several members who play on a regular basis – check this out and join in the fun!

LYNDON ELLEFSON HALF-MARATHON & 5K RACE
Every September, the BACC holds a run in memory of Barron native, Lyndon Ellefson, who died July 10, 1998, after falling into a deep crevasse in the Italian Alps. Runners can choose between a Half-Marathon and 5k run/walk. Prize money is awarded in the Half-Marathon Race! This Run, which benefits the Barron Area Community Center, is held in conjunction with Barron’s Fall Fest so there are a variety of activities taking place on Race Day. Join us for a great day of family fun!

GREAT NORTHWEST BASKETBALL LEAGUE TOURNAMENTS
The BACC gym is the site for some great basketball games when the Great Northwest Basketball League holds their tournaments here each winter. Come and cheer these young athletes on to victory!!

AQUATICS
Our Aquatics area is home to a 7-person hot tub, dry sauna, and a 25-meter, 6-lane pool. The pool is available throughout the day for lap swim, adult only swim, water aerobics & aqua jogging classes, recreational swimming and discount swim times for non-members. The hot tub and sauna area are open all business hours for rest and relaxation after a hard work out. The BACC offers swim lessons for children and adults. Swim lessons are taught by American Red Cross certified instructors. Come in and enjoy our Aquatics area today!

MEETING AREAS
Need a space for your group to meet? The BACC can help! You can rent our meeting room for groups up to approximately 50 people. Tables/chairs, TV/VCR/DVD, overhead projector and screen are all available for your use.
