Dr. Kristin Tjornehoj

Dr. Kristin Tjornehoj is a professor of music at UW-River Falls. A native of Wisconsin, she holds a Ph.D. in music education from the University of Minnesota. Her teaching experience encompasses 28 years of service -- 15 years at UW-River Falls and 13 years at Hudson Public Schools.

At UW-River Falls, Dr. Tjornehoj leads the Symphony Band, Chamber Winds, and the St. Croix Valley Symphony Orchestra. She teaches related courses in music education, piano, conducting, and the history of wind music. Dr. Tjornehoj also supervises student teachers in instrumental music throughout the region.
